We do more than sell music here at Back Alley. We will be hosting shows, workshops, and anything else we find interesting in our cozy back room. Also, feel free to talk to us about renting our space.
Songwriter/Celtic guitarist October Browne is on the road this Summer promoting her most recent CD of original guitar instrumentals entitled Quetzel. October recently won the Lenny Breau Award, and has one of her compositions included on the Borealis compilation Six Strings North of the Border along with Canadian notables Don Ross and Bruce Cockburn. She will be performing and hosting a guitar workshop at Back Alley Music this Saturday, August 9 from 2-4pm. So feel free to take your guitar down to the workshop and participate or just sit back and take it in. Admission will be $5. Our address is 69 University Avenue and our number is 367-3311.
